Born in a family of renowned musicians, Violeta Smailovic-Huart began studying violin when only 3 years old. Unlike many "child prodigies" that fade away with time, she has acquired a growing maturity by combining her own personality with the best of what her Russian, American end French teachers (E. Tchugaeva, P. Vernikov, A. Moglia, T. Smirnova, I. Grubert, E. Schmieder and E. Borok) offered. She also participated in Master Classes of A. Rosand, V. Tretyakov, Garlitsky, and S. Kravchenko. This great violinist has performed in recitals, concerts of chamber music and as a soloist with orchestras in Austria, England, Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy, Russia, Romania, Croatia, Macedonia, Serbia, Slovenia, the Netherlands , USA and Japan. Elected "Best Young Musician of Yugoslavia" , she is also a laureate of the Sir Yehudi Menuhin Foundation “Live Music Now” (Paris) and the Sasakawa Peace Foundation (Japan). Deeply concerned to pass on her expertise to young violinists, Violeta Smailovic-Huart attracts a large number of international students.
